lyrics
I saw you
With that glint in my eye
But as time has passed by
You’re the thorn in my side
No regrets
No regrets
I guess we have to learn to forget
Till I’m done with this debt
And I’m no longer a threat
No regrets
No rewinds
Resets
No regrets
No regrets
Fall back down
So my feet can catch up
Nothing worse than being stuck
When the doors are being shut
No regrets
No rewinds
Resets
No regrets
No regrets

I picked this one up in advance of a holiday trip. In these times I always need some softer music for my companion which rocks only a little. But "Ghosts on Tape" even rocks a bit more. The album has still edges and corners, it sounds modern and timeless the same time, it is varied, often catchy and dynamic. Even for me as a metalhead BLOOD RED SHOES is a band which transports enough energy and ideas with its electro indie rock to stay sustainably interesting. Check "Sucker". H.L.
