lyrics
Tell me you’re right
I never wanted a fight
But you’re boring me
With you’re so called misery
I never cared
For the likes of you my friend
Didn’t bother me
When you talk sarcastically
Blue’s not my colour
It’s not that kind of love
Just a moment in time
Like a stranger passing by
Don’t make it hard
Don’t make it hard
We’d a been just fine
But nothing seems to satisfy
Dedicate your mind
Oh how could you be so blind
Blue’s not my colour
It’s not that kind of love
Just a moment in time
Like a stranger passing by
Don’t make it hard
Don’t make it hard
You said you’d never break it
But yet you did it again
You said you’d never break it
But yet you did it again
You just make it hard
But I just want my short time love
Ohhhhhh

I picked this one up in advance of a holiday trip. In these times I always need some softer music for my companion which rocks only a little. But "Ghosts on Tape" even rocks a bit more. The album has still edges and corners, it sounds modern and timeless the same time, it is varied, often catchy and dynamic. Even for me as a metalhead BLOOD RED SHOES is a band which transports enough energy and ideas with its electro indie rock to stay sustainably interesting. Check "Sucker". H.L.
